This policy describes how the iOS app “murkmark” (the “App”) handles your information.
The App has no account system, no analytics, and no tracking. The developer does not collect, receive, store, or share any personal data from the App.
Everything the App manages stays on your device and is never sent to the developer:
Deleting the App deletes this data.
The App connects only to the podcast servers behind the RSS feeds you subscribe to, in order to fetch feeds, artwork, and episode audio. These requests go directly from your device to those servers, as with any podcast client; the operators of those servers may see your IP address and standard request metadata. The developer operates no intermediary server and sees none of this traffic.
Transcription of marked segments runs entirely on-device using Apple’s speech frameworks. Audio and transcripts never leave your device and are not sent to the developer or any third party by the App.
Purchases (coffee treats and banner removal) are processed by Apple. The developer does not receive your name, address, or payment details. The App keeps only the minimal purchase state on your device needed to apply what you bought.
The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this page with a new “Last updated” date.
